Reflection - Mother of Pearl Drop Earrings

Soft, luminous mother of pearl surrounds tiny suspended beads, creating a pair that changes subtly as light moves across its surface.

I named these Reflection because you never really see one static color in mother of pearl. What you see changes with the light, movement, and perspective.

This idea holds a lot of personal meaning for me. My experiences with microdosing and psychedelics felt as though they opened an entirely new world and encouraged me to look at myself, consciousness, and spirituality from perspectives I hadn’t considered before.

I believe psychedelics may have an important place in our search for the intersection between science and spirituality, and supporting careful research into these substances is something I genuinely care about.

When deciding which of my creations would become donation pieces, I chose the ones that felt the most unusual, otherworldly, and “trippy.” These absolutely made the cut.

50% of the proceeds from this piece will be donated to the Johns Hopkins Center for Psychedelic and Consciousness Research.
