Handmade Dragonfly Opalite Earrings

The original design for these earrings came from a friend who absolutely adored dragonflies. She was the very first person I ever made earrings for, and ever since then I’ve found myself creating dragonflies again and again. Somewhere along the way, they became just as meaningful to me as they were to her.

Dragonflies are often seen as symbols of good fortune and welcoming change. I paired them with opal, a stone that’s associated with transformation, creativity, and hope. It felt like the perfect match.

To me, these earrings are a reminder that change doesn’t have to be something to fear. Sometimes it’s what allows us to become more of ourselves.

I hope these whimsical little dragonflies find a home with someone who is embracing growth, creativity, and all of the beautiful transformations life has to offer.

• Although the wire is sturdy, handle with care to help maintain the dragonfly’s shape.

Please note: Opalite is a man-made glass known for its soft, glowing appearance. While it isn’t a natural gemstone, it’s often loved for the peaceful, dreamy quality it brings to jewelry.
